Who, exactly, is Porcellia ?

A marketing company that speaks Startup.

We specialize in category creation , building demand for products, brands, and industries most consumers don't even know they want yet.

That means combining storytelling, cultural relevance, internet intuition, and pop-culture thinking with deep P&L understanding, performance marketing, and first-principles business strategy.

Most marketing companies optimize existing demand. We help create it.

Our manifesto

If your only reason to apply here is because we're remote.

You're missing the point. Or because of the salary. Or the brands. Or the title you'd get. By the end of this page, four things you'll come to believe.

01.

We are the only creative-first marketing company in India intentionally engineered for P&L outcomes.

02.

We work at the pinnacle of marketing innovation. Not the trail of it.

03.

There's no faster way to grow professionally, financially, personally, without becoming a founder yourself. Your journey at Porcellia emulates that journey closer to anything else you’ll experience.

04.

Remote….Talent density. It’s the reward you get for being truly elite.

Our EXPOSURE

What you get ?

Eight things every full-time hire walks away with — junior or senior, remote or in office.

1. Tons of freedom.

Work where you want. What time you want. Which accounts you want, within a mutual agreement with your team-lead. The degrees vary by role: creativity thrives in remote; client-facing work needs structure. Both are honored.

"As long as I'm meeting deadlines and upholding quality standards, no one has an issue with what time I log in or how many breaks I take. Best work-environment of my 5-year advertising career."

— Manaal, Principal Copywriter
2. Interesting colleagues.

IIT graduates next to college dropouts. Stand-up comics next to MSME owners. Poker players next to corporate refugees. Musicians next to mad scientists. Talent density is the only thing that makes our pace possible.

"The best part about going fully remote is meeting your team in person. Working with such creative high-performers has really inspired me to up my own game."

— Bhargav, UI/UX Lead
3. Invaluable learnings.

Working this closely with D2C founders and fast-scaling brands gets you closer to entrepreneurship than any course will. A paid, hands-on MBA. Real businesses. Real problems. Real numbers. Whatever you learn here will take you 10x further than most first-time founders go.

"I started as a Sr. Designer. Then I moved to strategy. Now I've opened my own Airbnb and am generating consistent profits using everything I learned in my last year here."

— Preeti, Sr. Creative Strategist
4. Career growth.

Dozens of internal moves to date. Designers becoming strategists. Interns becoming team leads. Copywriters becoming performance marketers. You don't play politics to get a promotion at Porcellia. You handle more, you get more. Responsibility. Visibility. Opportunities. Compensation. None of our team leads are wired to take credit for someone else's work, and we take intentional steps to keep it that way.

"In the last three years, I've worked here as an intern, a copywriter, a strategist, a performance marketer, and so many other things. It's been challenging but I'm surprised at myself for being able to juggle all this without burning out."

— Sakshi, Head of Marketing
5. Lots of ₹₹₹₹.

Better than market average. The starting salary of every full-time hire, fresher or otherwise, is at least ₹5 LPA. We aim to raise that floor by 25–30% within the next year. Bonuses, increments, profit-shares, and long-term equity follow for consistent high-performers. Annual raises for top performers are deliberately uncapped, and extremely rewarding by design.

"I asked for a very modest salary in my final interview. HR offered 2x more than my original ask. My jaw was on the floor."

— Teja, Sr. Creative Strategist
6. job stability.

Startups are usually risky places to work. Here, it's the opposite. The risk is carried by leadership so the rest of the company can build. Several team leads have taken pay cuts so junior and mid-level members can grow well. Stability isn't created by playing safe. It's created when leaders put skin in the game.

"Experience at Porcellia helped me break into freelancing. I didn't intend to go back to full-time. But when the company grew and needed me, I figured if I'm working full-time, I'd rather be here than anywhere else."

— Akshat, Head of Growth
7. Self-actualization.

Or as close to it as work can get you. Autonomy, opportunities, challenges, recognition , all reveal your true potential over time. You'll learn what kind of problems excite you. What kind of pressure you love. Where your real limits are. Used intentionally, this isn't just professional growth. It's clarity about who you are.

"I want to help every single team member experience the kind of financial freedom I enjoy."

— Ritesh, Founder
8. Entrepreneurial exposure.

You work unusually close to business-building here. Pricing decisions. Positioning. Margins. Product-market fit. Consumer psychology. Growth bottlenecks. Retention. Creative strategy. P&L tradeoffs. Over time, you stop thinking like an employee assigned tasks. You start thinking like someone building something.

Our CONTRACT

What it takes ?

The other half of the contract. Read this carefully , it's the most accurate filter we can give you before you write the email.

1. Mad skills.

Non-negotiable. Quality work is where your journey begins at Porcellia. It determines whether you even enter the system. Send a portfolio, cover letter, or any proof of work that makes us go "wow." Then top it once you start.

"I started a system where we share paid assignments with select candidates applying to the design team. Helps us hire better and incentivizes them to put their best foot forward."

— Ayesha, Head of Design
2. Relentless curiosity.

Sherlock Holmes meets Dr. Frankenstein energy. Dig into the data. Find new patterns. Experiment. Measure. Double down. If you're right-brained, train your left brain. If you're left-brained, train the right. We don't want copywriters, designers, marketers, and strategists. We want storytellers, mad scientists, visual thinkers, contrarian strategists.

"Proper research is more than half the job done. I send questionnaires to collect real opinions before I write a single word."

— Shreya, Sr. Copywriter
3. Problem-solving attitude.

We look for people energized by problems, not intimidated by them. People who care about leaving things better than they found them. We don't say "that's not my job", even if it's true. It may not be your job to design or write something, but it's still your problem if a client expects it and we haven't followed up.

"Most clients get uncomfortable when we first quote our fees. So I've spent months making our onboarding feel as premium and high-value-for-money as possible."

— Aditi, Entrepreneur in Residence
4. Radical responsibility.

Not just for tasks. For outcomes. Think beyond the brief. Step in before you're asked. Observe gaps and fix them. Don't just follow up — follow through. If it affects the business, it's everyone's concern, regardless of designation.

"My work feels just as valuable as any full-timer's. When I share an opinion on copy or strategy, people actually take it seriously even though I'm primarily a designer."

— Lakshita, Design Intern
5. Pressure tolerance.

Not from day one. But within a few weeks. D2C is a fast-moving space. A brand's ROAS, conversion rates, account health can crash overnight. If we're not quick enough to fix the leak, revenue loss compounds for weeks. Even a perfect strategy fails if it ships late. If you can't handle tight deadlines, large creative volume, or high-pressure moments, this isn't for you.

"The first few weeks were tough. Stepping into a whole new role. Through timely communication and tons of guidance, I was managing my workload far better 2–3 months in."

— Aayushi, Copy, Strategy & Ops
6. Deep empathy.

High pressure doesn't mean burning people out. If you join as a team lead, your job is to absorb client pressure and re-prioritize so your team works at their best. Always respect their boundaries. Execution side: extend your colleagues the same courtesy. Cover for them on leave. Submit on time so no one has to chase you.

"I probably spend 1–2 hours executing and 6–7 hours just talking to my juniors. I want it to be as quick and easy as possible for my team."

— Ashwin, Head of Performance
7. Giving-first mindset.

Your designation defines your role, not your job. Your real job is to make other people's lives easier colleagues, clients, end-users. Think of us as a machine. Think of this mindset as the oil that keeps it running. We want people who are ruthlessly kind.

"Some days my biggest wins aren't deliverables. They're the moments when a teammate feels supported, unstuck, or less stressed because I stepped in."

— Ishmita, Founder's Office Associate
